The Drunkards Path pattern and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I love the effect of the round corners, but I’m certainly not a fan of sewing all those round seams. So making a cushion instead of a whole quilt is a great solution for me.
For this particular cushion I choose neutral grey and beige colours suiting the space the cushion is intended for. To accentuate the quilting effect, I used thicker batting than I usually would use, so the quilting pops out a little extra. All in all I love how this chevron drunkards path cushion turned out en I guess this design would look great on a whole quilt, but that’s one I won’t be making 😉
