Not a unique idea but a very welcome, cozy and easy sewing project. I had a stiff and painful shoulder while visiting my parents. My mum heated her big wheat bag to wrap around my shoulder and I was sold. I have a couple of cherry pit bags, but they are heavy and hard. Wheat kernels are so much more pleasant.

As I have a lot of cotton fabrics (it’s best to use natural fibers because of the heat), all I needed was the wheat kernels and they are easily bought (online). The sewing is simple and straitforward, just a bag with compartments so the kernels don’t pile up on one side. As I had a bag of 5 kg of wheat kernels I made wheat bags for me and my two sisters. We are staying nice and warm this winter!
