Sewing is one of the crafts I design and create a lot in. Most of it is in patchwork and quilt style, but you can also find some other sewing projects in different kind of techniques and fabrics, like felt. Have a look in my shop to find the patterns I’ve published.

An even older passion besides sewing is designing and making simple furniture. I especially like to design practical furniture that are easy to make. So I've added that handicraft 'chapter' to my crafts & design website as well .

ABOUT

Are you just as curious and passionate as me about creating beautiful objects with fabric and wood for your home?

My name is Stacey (surprise surprise) and I use this website to share my sewing and woodworking craft and designs with you. I love these two materials because of the way you can work with them, both with their own unique quality.

What Others Say

Thanks for a really good experience building a learning tower for my youngest daughter, your plan made it easy as 1, 2, 3! The drawings and detailed descriptions make it easy to comprehend, even for entry-level DIY-ers.  You could say the end-result was approved by my daughter, she played with it all night and it required two grown-ups to make her part with it at bedtime.

About: Learning Tower (using plywood)

I have now used two of Stacey’s quilt patterns and I’m a big fan!!! I knew after creating my first quilt with her pattern that I wanted to make another one with a different pattern. Her instructions are very easy to follow and come with many photos as well. Sometimes learning a pattern on paper is harder for me than learning it hands on, but Stacey makes it possible with her designs! You won’t regret purchasing one of her beautiful quilt patterns!

About: Totally Smitten Quilt & Lois Quilt

We've been using the learning tower since our little son was almost a year old and started walking/climbing. Now he is turning almost three and we still enjoy the learning tower daily. It's an easy, but definitely nice piece of furniture to slide in when I'm cooking or hands need to be washed. This way you can involve children in cooking and that makes it doubly fun. The learning tower is very nice, and the piece is sturdy and stable. We are very happy with the learning tower!
