We made a stylish wooden step stool, because we did not like the bright blue plastic one our son was using for the toilet. Using a few leftover pieces of laminated oak panel, we crafted a sleek stool that is functional and beautiful. The design is incredibly sturdy and easily holds adult weight.

We were so pleased with the result of this oak version we build a second slightly larger version for the bathroom. We wanted a different look so we used pine and stained it white.

These were fun, satisfying projects to check off our list.
