What’s more exciting in the autumn than searching for mushrooms in the forrest. My favourite is the fly agaric. Every time I find these I feel like a little kid again. And now I finally have some ‘growing’ at home 😉 together with some fluffy acorns.
The stems of the mushrooms are made of a rolled up piece of felt and I filled the felt mushroom caps with some cushion filler. Don’t forget to add the white scales before assembling the whole mushroom. To give them a finishing touch I added a ring along the top of the stems.
The wreath I ‘planted’ my mushrooms on is made from a styrofoam base that I covered with a chevron fabric.
And the fluffy acorns are really easy to make. I took ‘real’ acorn cups and glued small fluffy pompoms in them with a glue gun.
