Our ‘little’ boy had his first children’s birthday party with a group of friends. He wanted his birthday party to have a superhero theme. So after contemplating having the kids decorate their own cape … which I discarded quite quickly (I envisioned kids and walls stained with fabric paint) I took a safer approach and had superhero masks printed on card stock so they could colour these. But I did sew a custom cape for each kid (no superhero without a cape huh..?). They were all very happy with their cape and the fact they could take it home. So no paint in places where it shouldn’t be and a bunch of happy kids …
