A great and decorative way to store and display your quilts and/or other blankets is to hang them on a ladder. I was looking online for an old/rustic one. But I couldn’t find anything I liked, so I thought I’ll just make one. It doesn’t have a rustic look but with its tapered legs has a more sleek and basic design. This goes better with our interior anyway. I used spruce wood and finished it with two layers of whitewash hard wax oil (Osmo). It’s purely for decorative use so no climbing on these rungs.

On the top of the ladder you can see the quilt I made with ‘The Craftsy Block of the Month’ by Amy Gibson (back than it was still called Craftsy). The crochet blanket in the middle is by tEE-wE crochet & crafts and the bottom quilt is a simple plus quilt I’ve made with upholstery fabric swatches.
