Normally I don’t sew (a lot of) clothes but this piece was a lot of fun to create. A friend of mine asked me to help create this skirt with upholstery swatches. She wanted to make this skirt for a business branding weekend where they were asked to create/have a statement outfit. We got together and puzzled over the layout of all the swatches and I turned it into a skirt by sewing the swatches to a (blue) base fabric. The beaded top you see in the picture is made from scratch by my friend with hundreds of beads. She was very happy how everything turned out and the branding coach was very complimentary.
