Now that our son is growing bigger we got rid of the Ikea high chair we took with us on holidays and visits (it was quit annoying and unpractical because the legs stick out so much).
As an alternative we now have a chair booster. Of course I made it myself 😉 … I recycled old jeans for the covers. Yes multiple covers as I made two cushions in different heights. This way we always have the right height of booster available. So one cushion is 10 cm (4″) high and the other is 4 cm (1,5″) high. The foam for the inside is extra sturdy so our son is sitting soft but very stable. I’ve also added straps to the higher cushion and ‘loops’ to the thinner cushion so they can be secured to (almost) any ‘open’ chair.
