As it is summer time and sewing might not be a first priority I thought a nice small project is in order. So here is my Hexagoned Chevron foundation paper piecing cushion pattern. All the steps to do the foundation paper piecing by numbers are explained in clear pictures and text.
The colours for this cushion are chosen to fit the colour scheme in my living room. And also some orange to support The Netherlands as they are not doing bad in winning medals at the Olympics.

This pattern with instructions contains a 50cm × 50cm cushion. In addition to the colour combination in the picture, I have added other colour suggestions.
In the second part you’ll find a bonus quilt in a (large) throw size. This quilt has its own colour combination and an extra colour suggestion.
To try out your own colour combination, you can also find colouring stencils for the cushion and quilt design in these instructions.
